The Hydraulic Filler and
Pressurization Unit, commonly known as a Filler/Bleeder Unit, serves as a
mobile maintenance unit for use in hangars and on flight lines for servicing the hydraulic
systems of aircraft having a system pressure from 0-3000 psi. The Filler/Bleeder is
manufactured in accordance with MIL-F-83766A. The unit is essentially composed of a 19
gallon capacity hydraulic reservoir with inlet and outlet strainers, low pressure transfer
pump, high pressure pump, low and high pressure relief valves, and a 3 micron absolute filter assembly conveniently
located on a three wheeled trailer . A ½" ID x 25ft. long MS28759-8 service hose
with end fittings conforming to MS28760-8 is used to connect the unit to the item being
serviced and is stored in an integral storage cabinet. This universal
servicing cart can be utilized on virtually any aircraft requiring hydraulic
