The Universal Turbine Engine Wash Unit is used to clean both the
hot and cold compressor sections of gas turbine engines, wash aircraft using the wand(s)/nozzle supplied and apply
anti-icing fluid. This versatile turbine engine washing system is utilized for
cleaning of turbine engines on
virtually any turbine engine powered aircraft or vehicle. The turbine wash kit is currently used by the US Military
on General Electric T-700 and T-701 engines used on UH-60, HH-60, AH-60, AH-64,
AH1, UH-1 and all other
variations of Blackhawk and Apache helicopters, TF34-100 engines used on A-10 fixed wing aircraft,
T64 engines used on CH-53 helicopters (including the U.S. President's Marine 1
fleet) and
the T53-L-13 Lycoming engine used on the UH-1 Huey helicopter, among others.
This turbine engine washing system may be
operated on 115 volt alternating current from 50 to 400 Hz. or 28 volt direct current, as
required. Due to its light weight, compact size, quiet operation and ability to operate off
of either a typical 115 volt power supply or the aircraft's AC or DC power
supplies, this highly adaptable and lightweight turbine compressor wash unit can be taken "on the
road" and is especially useful for
those instances where complete independence from an outside power source is
necessitated.
At approximately half the cost
and a quarter of the weight of
comparable diesel driven systems, the Universal Turbine Engine Wash Unit is the perfect fit
for today's cost conscious military/aerospace user.
