An updated version of our 8801B Hydraulic Hose Tester utilizing a 1/4% accuracy digital gauge with selectable units of measure and peak read feature, this unit is approved for US Army proof testing of finished hydraulic hose and tube assemblies as well as burst testing if required. The unit is air operated and will supply an outlet pressure up to 15,000 psi from an air supply of approximately 100 psi. The unit is completely self contained and is supplied with stainless test adapters to accommodate both flared and flare less hydraulic fittings in sizes from -3 to -16 (3/16 to 1"). Other sizes and fitting types available upon request. The stainless reservoir has a usable capacity of 5 gallons with an allowance for fluid expansion. Racks and laser cut foam retainers are provided on the reservoir assembly for storage of hose connection adapters. The unit weighs 49 lbs without fluid and may be easily transported. Enhanced safety for operating personnel is achieved by utilizing the optional 8801HT integral test chamber which was designed specifically to fit to all our 8801B and 9801B testers. When ordered with the test chamber, test adapter shelving is included inside the chamber.
